EU must be constructive and accept conclusions of this week´s negotiations

EU can remain silent no longer so we can progress this important United Nations treaty

“We really call upon the European Union to be constructive, to support the conclusions and make sure that next year we are here to take the next step in this important United Nations treaty that will protect human rights,” activist Ike Teuling, from Friends of the Earth Europe, told Real World Radio on Friday.

“So the last thing that is going to happen here in this session of the UN treaty is that all countries have to adopt the conclusions and recommendations of the session”, as the fourth round of the talks for a binding treaty on transnational corporations and human rights are about to end.
